OD programme – re-structuring
and
re-engineering
Our business objectives were to realign our systems, processes and people with the expectations and purpose of Sport England. In essence, we were delivering an efficiencies programme and addressing a significant amount of HR issues in particular employee relations, consultation, performance management and total pay. We had gone through change programmes before but they were done to us – not with us. Pharos introduced consensus and consultation
which enabled engagement and commitment, top down.
The executive was fully involved in decision-making and we were committed to making it happen. Colleagues have commented positively about the quality of communication because they knew where they stood and felt the process was transparent and authentic. Whenever we got bogged down in the detail, Pharos made us take a step back to generate realistic solutions.
